Title:

Tales of Suspense

Synopsis:
A tale of dual duels! Tony Stark must save Happy Hogan from the Mandarin - by building a new suit of armor! And Cap locks horns with one of his most persistent foes - Batroc the Leaper!

”Into the Jaws of Death”

Continued from last issue... When posing as Iron Man in order to protect Tony Stark’s secret identity, Happy Hogan is teleported to the secret lair of the Mandarin, who -- thinking that Happy is really Iron Man -- easily defeats Happy and makes him his prisoner.

Back in the States, Tony leaves his hospital room and returns to Stark Industries where he builds a new and even more powerful suit of armor to save his friend. Then using a new rocket, Iron Man launches himself into the proximity of the Mandarin’s castle and fights his way into the castle’s dungeon where walks in on the Mandarin just before he can execute Happy. This story is continued next issue...

”The Blitzkrieg of Batroc!”

Receiving a cryptic message that the mysterious S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 13 (who resembles a woman from Cap’s past) has been kidnapped, Captain America soon finds himself in a rematch battle against Batroc the Leaper who has been hired by Hydra to destroy the star spangled Avenger.

However, when Hydra attempts to shoot Captain America when he’s distracted defending himself from Batroc, Batroc is offended that they would choose such a cowardly way to defeat an opponent. Batroc then helps Cap defeat the Hydra agents and free Agent 13. Afterwards, Batroc takes his leave telling Cap that they will have another chance to have a fair rematch sometime in the future.
