Synopsis:
The story continues with the young woman looking for Tarzan to help her find her missing, father, and her guide continues to tell the story of Tarzan. His adoptive mother Kala had been killed, Tarzan avenged her death, Sabor the lioness killed by Tarzan then the heir apparent of the ape tribe leaves after defeating Terkoz, a mean bull ape, in hand combat.
A group of white men row ashore. Tarzan is unimpressed by their brutality as snipe kills the captain. Tarzan remarks they are worse than the apes or animals. They found his parents cabin, and Tarzan leaves a note to leave his things alone.
William Clayton is almost killed by Snipe, but a spear from Tarzan saves him. Jane porter accompanied him, and is left with the maid while William looks for Jane’s father, and a lion looks for William. Tarzan again saves his life from the lion.
They hear the screams of Jane and Tarzan takes William in the trees and heads to the screams and camp. Tarzan kills the Panther and disappears before anyone can thank him.
Tarzan follows the cut throats who had a treasure to bury, and one of them killed Snipe. Tarzan takes their treasure when they leave. He leaves a note for Jane expressing his love, as he does not yet speak the language. Terkoz returns and takes Jane, but Tarzan intervenes and kills him, saving Jane. He carries her off.

Synopsis for ”Fight For Life”
Reprinted from a newspaper strip originally printed on January 10th, 1932.

There is a fire on the Savannah and all the animals are fleeing. Some panthers are heading towards the water hole and notice of fawn there and decide to get more than just water. Tarzan and the apes are nearby and Tarzan stops the panther from killing the fawn. Although scratched by the panther, Tarzan stabs him with his knife. The other apes help with the other panthers, and eventually the panthers are chased off.

Synopsis for John Carter of Mars: ”A Fair Captive From the Sky”
John Carter roams around a Martian city with his guard dog, as Tars Tarkas lectures him with a history lesson about his race. Suddenly above, an unidentified aircraft is being blasted from the skies. When they inspect the fallen ship, they take prisoner a beautiful red-skinned female, Princess Dejah Thoris of Helium. As she is taken to the dungeon, she is being manhandled by the Tharks. John notices this, and lashes out at the laughing guards. Tars Tarkas threatens to disintegrate John if does not stop his scuffle. Disgusted with John’s actions, Tars Tarkas escorts him and the princess to a higher tribunal, to be judged if they should live or die.
