Hannibal, Frank and John Blaze know what Blade is trying to do and attempt to stop him; They reach him and "Linda” destroys the letter but not before Blade has read the page; He accepts the Other’s offer of the opportunity to revenge himself against everything unnatural; He is then turned into Switchblade, a being capable of absorbing the magical abilities of everyone that he destroys.
