Synopsis:
Part four of six in the ’Lethal Protector’ storyline. Venom has relocated to San Francisco and become a brutal but self-styled protector of the innocent. Underground dwellers and corporate interests collide as the Life Foundation experiments with new symbiote offspring. In this issue, Venom and Spider-Man find themselves forced into an uneasy alliance when they confront one of the newly created symbiotes, the first major female symbiote, whose uncontrolled power and murderous rage threaten everyone around her. The battle rages across the city and its underworld, pushing Venom closer to the edge between hero and monster while Spider-Man struggles to keep both civilians and his former foe alive.
