Title:
Tales Of The Teen Titans
Synopsis:
Having learned from Vernon Questor that Steve Dayton is slowly dying, Gar Logan confronts his foster father, who becomes angry and orders him out of his office. Victor Stone, meanwhile, is frustrated in his attempts to contact Sarah Simms, unaware that Sarah now has a new boy-friend.
When the Titans meet with the construction crew working on the restoration of their headquarters the next day, Jericho and Kole inform them of the bizarre insect and crystalline beings Kole’s father has created.
The Titans arrive at Weathers’ mansion to investigate, and are attacked and defeated by his monstrous creatures. Weathers places the Titans in a glass chamber which he then fills with a chemical fluid, intending to transform the heroes into more of his mutated creatures. Kole is shocked into inaction as her mother reveals that she too has been willingly changed into a humanoid insect-being. The Titans are unable to escape their fate, until Jericho possesses Marilyn Weathers, Kole’s mother, distracting the professor while Kole frees the young heroes. A struggle ensues between Titans and monsters, until Weathers erects a force field around himself and his creations, and releases a gas that will advance their forced evolution to its next stage. Jericho and Kole are trapped within the field, but his wife convinces Professor Weathers to release them. As they and the Titans flee, the entire mansion is destroyed in an explosion, and its occupants emerge, in the form of ordinary insects.
