Sinister Perspectives, script by Simon Furman, pencils by Nathaniel Palant, inks by Mike Halblieb; Mr. Sinister’s X-Men battle Magneto and win but Sinister is still displeased with his team as they can’t seem to get along with each other; He sends them to Cairo to contact a new mutant but they run across a rival team, the X Men; Cyclops feels an instant affinity for Jean Grey and stays behind to keep Sabretooth from killing her when Sinister calls him home; Thus, he is not back at the base to protect Sinister when Magneto and the Brotherhood attack; With Sinister dead, Cyclops and Havok decide to join Xavier and his X Men; Of course, this is all part of Sinister’s master plan.
