Synopsis:
The epic battle vs. Null, the Living Darkness, is over. The Defenders and the Squadron Supreme have emerged triumphant. Finally it’s time to go home. Shockingly, Nighthawk (aka Kyle Richmond) will not be returning to Earth-616 because he actually belongs on Earth-712 -- the Squadron’s home planet. The Defenders begin the teleportation process to return to Earth-616, but something goes wrong inside the transporter. Four Defenders -- Gargoyle, Valkyrie, Namor, and the Beast -- end up in a Dr. Seuss-esque dimension. Only a pair of ruby sneakers can get them home.
