Title:

PieceWork

Year:
2016
Description:
This tenth annual historical knitting issue includes the amazing story of the "So-Called St. Adalbert’s Glove from Prague” - a mystery rolled up in a knitting lesson, and it’s just delicious. Thank you, Sylvie Odstrcilová, for sharing it with PieceWork. Over the years, we’ve included a number of features on knitting for the troops during war. Mimi Seyferth’s article "The Women of Pindos” puts the spotlight on a group of women who went way beyond knitting, although they did knit countless pairs of socks, sweaters, balaclavas, and mittens. And these are just two examples of what’s in store for you in this issue.
