Synopsis:

Set in Los Angeles over the course of a single night in the early 2000s, Collateral follows Max Durobi, a meticulous and quietly ambitious taxi driver who has spent twelve years behind the wheel while postponing his dream of starting his own limousine company. When a well-dressed fare named Vincent hires Max for the entire night, the arrangement seems like a financial windfall until Max discovers that his passenger is a contract killer working through a list of targets connected to a federal investigation. Forced at gunpoint to drive Vincent from location to location across the sprawling city, Max must find a way to outwit his captor before the night’s final target is reached.
