Synopsis:

Set in California and a fictional Latin American island nation in the mid-1980s, Commando follows John Matrix, a retired elite Special Forces commander living quietly in the mountains with his young daughter Jenny. When a group of mercenaries working for a deposed South American dictator kidnap Jenny, Matrix is coerced into agreeing to assassinate a foreign president in exchange for her safety. Instead of carrying out the mission, Matrix goes rogue the moment his plane takes off, abandoning the assignment and launching a one-man rescue operation. Racing against a deadline and armed with an extraordinary arsenal, Matrix tears through an army of enemies to reach the island compound where his daughter is being held.
