The Color Of Money

The Color of Money is the sequel to the 1961 film The Hustler. At the end of The Hustler Fast Eddie Felson was banned for life from playing pool and in the following years he has become the manager to young upcoming pool players, even though they have the enthusiasm to play the game they haven’t got the talent to play it at the top level that is until one day he finds a young, promising pool player called Vincent in a bar that reminds Eddie of himself in his early career. Eddie offers to teach Vincent all about becoming a hustler, and after some hesitations Vincent accepts Eddies offer and Eddie takes him and Vincent’s girlfriend Carmen on a tour of pool halls and bars around America. On their trip Vincent leans not only the refinements of the game, but also the dirty trickery that will lure in the pool players he can play for money. The more successful Vincent gets the more jealous Eddie feels as he longs to play pool again, then one night after a heated argument over Vincent not listening to what Eddie was saying and loosing them a lot of money because of it, Vincent and Eddie go their separate ways, Eddie tries to play pool again and has a comeback and becomes a successful pool player again. Finally in a big Atlantic pool tournament Eddie and Vincent square off against each other in the final. Who will win, the teacher or the pupil?
