Title:
Rugrats: Mysteries
Synopsis:
Murmur on the Ornery Express
Boris and Minka bring the Rugrats and their families on a scenic train trip to Little Biendeltown, a re-creation of ”the Old Country”. When Minka’s necklace and Chuckie’s Wava Bear go missing en route, will the babies solve the mystery of who the train robber is?
The Fun Way Day
Chas quits his job as a bureaucrat when he finds a new career that’s suitable for both himself and Kira -- peddling coffee. In this episode, Chas and Kira opens a café called The Java Lava, which will feature a variety of coffees and other drinks, plus a playpen for the Rugrats and the other visiting babies. However, the first day of business isn’t doing well -- no customers, other than Chas’s friends, came in; there were technical difficulties with the equipment (some of it invented by Stu); and the coffee is too strong, even for Betty, who normally swears by it. Kira’s solution -- hire a Feng Shui (pronounced ”thing schway”) expert to find the faults with the business, and to rearrange things to make things better, spiritually. This not only involves rearranging furniture and appliances, but also placing various gems and trinkets around. That makes the Rugrats believe that the ”Fun Way” guy came by to play a game with the Rugrats.
Trading Phil
Angelica tries to fit in with some older 4-year old girls and learns they want to play with a ”real baby”. So she lets them have their pick of the Rugrats and they choose Phil. Angelica makes the babies a deal that she’ll be nice to them forever if Phil decides to play with her and the big kids. Will she keep her end of the bargain?
Grandpa’s Favorite Stories
Grandpa’s Date
Grandpa Lou’s long lost love Morgana pays him a visit after 40 years. When he tries to hide the fact that he’s now a grandpa, will Tommy and Chuckie spoil his date?
The Legend of Satchmo
When Grandpa Lou takes the babies on their first camping trip --- in the Pickles’ backyard --- and tells them the story of the legendary ”Satchmo” monster, will the Rugrats be brave enough to spend the night outside?
Grandpa’s Teeth
Grandpa is supposed to play his trumpet at a Veteran’s Picnic, but Spike runs off with his dentures. Tommy and Chuckie set out to get them back in the craziest wild-duck chase in the history of dental rescue.
Visitors from Outer Space
After Grandpa reads stories of an alien invasion in the American Star Inquirer, Tommy dreams that two aliens named Stuvon and Didor abduct the Rugrats aboard their insterstellar craft. In the end, the kids outwit the aliens, and Angelica becomes queen of her own planet.
Grandpa Moves Out
When Grandpa begins to feel like he’s in the way, he packs his bags and heads for Flushing Waters luxury retirement home. Although it looked great on TV, Grandpa soon finds out that it is no Shangri-la. Can a visit from Tommy and Angelica set things right again?
