Synopsis:

Jake Huard (James Franco) is from a shipbuilders family, but promised his dying mother he’d make it to the US Naval Academy at Annapolis. Once accepted, everything Jake thought he knew is challenged in ways he never could have imagined. Standing between him and his lifelong ambition of becoming an officer in the US Navy is his company commander--Midshipman Lt. Cole (Tyrese Gibson), a relentless and merciless battle-seasoned Marine. Determined to succeed despite the obstacles, Jake finds support with his fellow cadets as well as Senor Ali (Jordana Brewster) his lover-to-be, and a discipline he may excel in: the ”brigade” boxing tournament, open to all ranks.
