The Cave

While on a dig deep in a Romanian forest, a group of scientists make a startling find, they find ruins of a huge abbey, dating back to the 13th Century, on further inspection they make a startling discovery, the abbey was built over the entrance to a massive network of underground caves. Eager to learn what lurks within the caves, the scientists discover to their dismay that a large part of the caves system is underwater. Undettered, the scientists hire a team of top American cave explorers who are trained in exploring underwater caves, to help them investigate the caves further, the team of explorers which are led by brothers Jack and Tyler arrive in Romania with all the latest equipment including a new high tech scuba gear that allows a diver to stay under the water for up to 24 hours. Jack, Tyler and the rest of the team, which includes Charlie and Buchanan dive in to investigate the caves, However, a misshap happens and a rockfall blocks the exit back to the surface and traps them in a cavern beneath the water, so there’s nothing more the explorers can do but dive further into the network of caves, but the group soon discover they are not alone as a pack of deadly and bloodthirsty creatures are waiting for them. With their leader Jack having very strange side-effects and with their numbers dropping, the group must dive even further into the network of caves, battle the creatures and hope they can find an exit before time runs out.
