Synopsis:

The story of three women each alive at a different time and place, searching for more meaningful lives, yet all linked by their common yearnings and fears. Novelist Virginia Wolfe is writing her work entitled ”Mrs Dalloway” in 1923 England. In 1951 Los Angeles, Laura Brown, a pregnant housewife, is planning a birthday party for her husband. Clarissa Vaughn, a woman living in present day New York City is throwing a party for her friend Richard, a famous author dying of AIDS. Their generational stories intertwine and finally come together in a transcendent moment of shared recognition; the stories of suicide in their lives. Winner Best Actress.
