The Darjeeling Limited

Three American brothers Francis, Peter and Jack Whitman who have not spoken to each other in a year since their fathers funeral set off on a train journey across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other and to become brothers again like they used to be. On their ”Spiritual trip” they decide to go and visit their mother who got sick of western living and decided to become a nun in the Himalayas. Along the way, the hapless brothers fall victim to a range of mishaps involving, among other things, over the counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup and pepper spray and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer and a laminating machine as their well intentioned trip spirals out of control. At this point a new unplanned journey suddenly begins. Amid the spectacular scenery of India, Can the brothers sort out their differences?
