Blood Diamond

Given the chaotic civil war in Sierra Leone of the 1990s tells ”Blood Diamond” the fate of the ex-mercenary Danny Archer (Leonardo DiCaprio) from Zimbabwe and Mende fisherman Solomon Vandy (Djimon Hounsou). Both men are African, but their origins and their situation could not be more different - until they suddenly have a common task by the circumstances: You want to track down a rare pink diamond that can transform their lives ... or death brings. Solomon is separated from his family and forced to work in the diamond fields.
