Synopsis:
Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) is a Hong Kong detective who helps confiscate millions of dollars worth of stolen Chinese artifacts from a crime lord. Seeking revenge, he kidnaps the 11 year old daughter of a Chinese consul (Tzi Ma) when he moves to America. Lee is sent as a diplomatic advisor and finds himself paired up with Los Angeles cop James Carter (Chris Tucker), a man who works alone, and wants to stay that way.
