Synopsis:
Inside a trashed Los Angeles hotel room, a troubled rock star named Pink slowly goes insane.
Never getting to meet his father, who was sacrificed at Anzio Beachhead in Italy by incompetent and uncaring generals in WWII.
Growing up fatherless and smothered by his overbearing mother.
His creative inspirations ridiculed as rubbish in his youth by abusive and unsympathetic teachers.
Later, the suffocation and isolation of unrelenting fame.
The dissolution of his marriage.
His descent into the abuse of alcohol and drugs.
All in all, these are all just bricks in the wall.
DVD-R disc includes a custom edited version in which the excised black & white ”Hey You” segment provided on the DVD as a deleted scene is restored into the flow of the film.
