Synopsis:
When the possibility that Toto may be put to sleep Dorothy (Judy Garland) takes him and runs away. Soon a cyclone appears and sweeps her and Toto to the magical land of Oz. Wishing to return she embarks on a trip to the Emerald City where a great wizard lives. On her way there she meets the Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) who needs a brain, the Tin Man (Jack Haley) who wants a heart and a Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr) who desperately needs courage. They all hope the Wizard of Oz (Frank Morgan) will help them before the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton) catches them.
