Crossover is a 2006 sports drama centered on the fiercely competitive underground world of streetball. Gifted athlete Noah Cruise and his best friend Tech come up from inner-city Detroit with very different dreams: Cruise wants to stay amateur, go to college, and eventually become a doctor, while Tech hustles high-stakes games for fast cash under the watch of shady streetball promoter Vaughn. When the friends travel to Los Angeles to take on the reigning streetball champions, they get pulled into a world of gambling, game-fixing, and temptation. Romantic entanglements, a dangerous motorcycle accident, and pressure from crooked agents force them to choose between short-term glory on the asphalt court and long-term futures built on education, integrity, and real opportunity.
