Months after Alice beheaded psycho killer/mother Pamela Voorhees at Camp Crystal Lake, survivor Alice is still traumatized because of the murders. But there is one problem. Mrs. Voorhee’s son Jason never drowned and died.So he saw Alice behead Mrs. Voorhees. Jason finds Alice soon and murders her. Five years later a camp counselor in training program begins at Campanack Lodge. Right near Jason’s home.Camp Crystal Lake. As teenagers in the program start snooping around Camp Crystal Lake, they start getting killed violently one by one.

Originally, the sex scene between Sandra and Jeff was longer and included full frontal nudity from actress Marta Kober. But when Paramount studio discovered that she was only 16, the nudity was edited out and the film destroyed (according to producers anyway).

Originally it had been intended for Amy Steel’s character Ginny to die, but producers decided someone needed to survive. They loved Steel’s performance, and wanted to sign her up for part three. Her agent told her not to, stating she’d get better roles, and she chose to listen. Years later she shared that she regretted that decision. While she did get a few other roles here and there, she largely left acting and instead became a marriage and family therapist.
