Synopsis:
Vietnam veteran Joseph ’Megs’ Megessey (Robert De Niro) visits his old army buddy Dave (Ed Harris), finds him drunk and disillusioned, and decides to stay around for a while. A tender relationship then begins to develop between Megs and Dave’s sister, Martha (Kathy Baker), and this forces Dave to confront both his own past and his feelings for Megs and Martha.
