Synopsis:

Professional mercenary Karl Thomasson travels to Brooklyn for the funeral of his brother Randall, a history teacher who has been murdered during an apparent carjacking blamed on a vicious street gang known as the Brotherhood. Convinced there is more to the killing than a random act of violence, Karl goes undercover as a substitute teacher at Lenthrop High School, taking over Randall’s classes in order to investigate. As he navigates the dangerous halls of the inner-city school, Karl discovers a web of corruption, car theft, and organized crime that reaches far beyond the students. Protecting his estranged niece Anya and aided by fellow soldier Joey Six and an unorthodox janitor, Karl turns the school into a battleground after hours, waging a one-man war against heavily armed gang members and a ruthless auto-shop teacher who is secretly running a chop-shop operation behind the scenes.
