Vitalogy

Vitalogy is the third studio album by American rock band Pearl Jam. The cover shown is the classic design resembling an old medical or health encyclopedia, with a dark, textured book-like background and the album title "Vitalogy” embossed in ornate gold script in the center. The package concept mimics a 1920s health manual, with the full release originally issued in a book-style package containing extensive artwork, antiquated medical advice, and lyrical fragments. Musically, the album documents Pearl Jam at a transitional and experimental point in their career, broadening their sound beyond earlier grunge roots into a mix of alternative rock, punk, hardcore, and atmospheric pieces. It became one of the fastest-selling albums of its era, achieved multi‑platinum status, and is often cited as one of the band’s most ambitious and critically acclaimed works, featuring 14 tracks and running just over 55 minutes.
