Great percussion based album. Nice lineup of artist lead by drummer percussionist Stix Hooper, including Joe Sample, Paulinho da Costa, Wilton Felder, Bobby Hutcherson, Jerry Hay, Alphonso Johnson, Roland Bautista.
My favorite Toons: #4 Codon Bleu -nice up Cajon Zydeco based groove with squeeze organ featured, #3 Passion -nice smooth vocal, #5 Jasmine Breeze - a haunting oriental structured tune with lots of opening bravado and continual pace count that makes this a nice piece. The Sea Wind Horns show up here too with gat drum work featured deep within the cut. #7 Little Drummer Boy is very nice.
