Vintage Make It and Bake it ”Makit & Bakit” Stained Glass Suncatcher Skating Santa Christmas Ornament. The Skating Santa was made by Grandma Rocky and given to Debby and Jim around 1982.
The collection of ”makit & bakit” ornaments from the 1970’s and 1980’s were (and still are) a popular Christmas crafting item, made by melting coloured plastic beads into pre-made metal forms. They are often referred to as ”stained glass” as that’s what they are made to resemble, but there’s no glass pieces here to worry about.
