-This limited edition pin from the Disney Store in 2015 features John from the Disney World attraction, “Carousel of Progress.” The attraction was originally located at Disneyland and debuted at the 1964 World Fair. John is in the center of the pin with a blue shirt and green apron on and Sarah can be seen sitting in the background on her computer. This is from the 4th and final scene in the attraction. You can see the title of each of the four different scenes written to the left and right of John, beginning with “Turn of the Century” and “1920” on the left and “1940” and “Progress of Tomorrow” written on the right. This pin was part of a 4 pin series celebrating the 4 different scenes from the attraction. It was released as part of a “Park Pack.” A Park Pack pin could be purchased at the Disney Parks online store and they were created to help pin collectors start trading. You could purchase a pack blindly which featured one very low limited edition pin and two open edition pins for $39.95. They were released monthly and were a mystery purchase.
