John Eckhardt Jr, (1911 - 1991) professionally billed as Johnny Eck ‘The Half Man’ performed for Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey, to name a few. Eck was performing when he was approached to be cast as ‘Half-Boy’ in Tod Browning’s 1932 film Freaks. Eck later appeared in several films in the 30s and 40s and later performed for Ripley’s Believe It or Not! where he was billed as ‘The Most Remarkable Man Alive’. Switchblade Maid paying homage to some most remarkable Sideshow greats in our next release 12 Aug!
