Annie Jones Elliot aka ‘The Bearded Lady’ was born in Virginia USA in 1865. She toured the world billed as a freak in Barnum’s Sideshow lineup. During her short life, she actively campaigned against the use of the word ‘Freak’ to describe sideshow performers. Switchblade Maid paying homage to some most remarkable Sideshow greats in this release.
