Rectangular hard enamel / cloisonné style pin featuring a stylized bronze-colored runner in front of a globe with Finland highlighted and the Olympic rings in the top right. Text along lower area reads ’OLYMPIC GAMES HELSINKI FINLAND’ with the year ’1952’ indicated in Roman numerals/graphics at the very bottom. Design is based on the Ilmari Sysimetsä poster image used for the XV Olympic Games (Helsinki 1952). Small vintage Olympic collector’s pin likely produced as commemorative merchandise for the 1952 Helsinki Summer Olympics or later anniversary reproductions. Metal backing and enamel filled colors: blue sky, golden globe, bronze runner, red year band at bottom.
