The Joker figure is part of the first wave of figures in the Super Powers collection produced by toy manufacturer KENNER between 1984 and 1986.
As it was one of the first wave of figures, it was reissued in subsequent years, although the first edition with the "12-back” cardboard box is the most sought after by collectors. This box contains an image of the first twelve figures in the collection on the back.
Like the other figures in the Super Powers line, the Joker figure comes with an "action feature.” In this case, when you squeeze his legs, his arm moves to strike with his mace. The mace and a comic book were included with the figure.
