it’s a drizzly, rainy sunday afternoon so the family is staying indoors. dad is on his computer, distracted by one of the dogs asking for pats, mum is enjoying a good book, big sis is practicing the piano and little sis is scribbling away with her crayons. it’s an ordinary sort of day, but the type that will be cherished memories in the future - a sense of togetherness brought about by just being in each others’ presence.
