Winner of the 2017 Apollo Award, this little brother of Multimatch-I has just 9 edge-colored square tiles, each different. Of necessity, the four hand-inlaid colors are unequally distributed. This oddity allows successful solutions for many matching and symmetrical challenges (hundreds of solutions) of the 3x3 array and many other figures outside the 5½” acrylic tray. For example, the trickiest and prettiest solutions let the colors wrap around from opposite edges, even both pairs of sides simultaneously (shown at left). Thereby you can also enclose one or two colors and form the equivalent of a cylinder, a torus, a Moebius strip, and a Klein bottle. Color mix may vary. For 1 or 2 players, ages 6 to adult.
