John Haskins was born 1938 in Bermondsey, London, England. After qualifying from art school, John started his career as chief technical illustrator working for industry. Later however his first love of landscape painting prevailed and today he works in his own studio at home in the country. His fine eye for detail lends an authenticity to the rural scenes he depicts. His paintings reflect the atmosphere and colour of his countryside surroundings. John has enjoyed a number of successful exhibitions and one-man shows in London and Los Angeles. His work will be found in many private collections and galleries.
