This stamp is distinguishable from the 1904 issue because it is always found cancelled with a large letter "S”, "R” or "O”.
The Servicio Sanitario revenue stamps of Rosario were issued to pay fees for mandatory health examinations of registered prostitutes. They were affixed to booklets and were cancelled with markings indicating the results of the health check.
