Kiazim (Kazim) Akhmed-ogly Agrba (1917-1944) was a Soviet fighter pilot and a Hero of the Soviet Union. He was born on September 5, 1917, in the village of Chlou in the Abkhazian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (now part of Georgia).
Agrba participated in numerous air battles during the war, shooting down several enemy planes. In 1944, he was shot down and killed during a mission over the Baltic Sea.
For his bravery and heroism in combat, Kiazim Agrba was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and the Order of Lenin. His name is inscribed on the memorial wall of the Hero Cities of Sevastopol and Novorossiysk.
