Classic Netherlands definitive postage stamp depicting a left-facing portrait of young Queen Wilhelmina wearing a tiara and fur collar, set within an ornate oval frame with laurel leaves and royal crowns above. The design is finely engraved with a lined background and decorative corner shields showing the value ”5” at lower left and ”Ct” at lower right. The word ”NEDERLAND” appears in a panel along the bottom. The stamp is printed in a single red color on white paper and shows a circular black postmark cancellation crossing the portrait.
