The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, colloquially known as the Evo 10 or Evo X, is a sports sedan manufactured by Mitsubishi from 2007 to 2016. Designed by Omer Halilhodžić at Mitsubishi’s European design center, the Lancer Evolution X is the tenth and final generation of the Lancer Evolution lineage, stretching back to 1992. The car was previewed by two concept cars which would ultimately lead to the Evolution X going on sale in October 2007. It is powered by a 2.0L 4B11-T turbocharged inline-4 mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed TC-SST dual clutch. Production was discontinued following the 2015 model year, with production ending in May 2016; Mitsubishi has stated that there are no plans for a successor model.
