Game Summary:
One year after the events of Mega Man 3 and the supposed death of Dr. Wily, Dr. Light receives a letter from a Russian scientist named Dr. Cossack. Claiming to be the greatest robotics scientist in the world, he plans to prove his superiority by unleashing a new army of Robot Masters upon the world. Assisted by his faithful friend, Rush, Mega Man is once again called upon to deal with this latest threat to humanity.
After scrapping each of Cossack’s creations, Mega Man confronts the evil doctor at his frozen citadel, but with Proto Man’s help, he discovers that Dr. Wily was behind it all along, having kidnapped Cossack’s daughter in order to blackmail him. Wily then retreats to his newly built lair, where Mega Man must brave yet another array of deadly traps in order to bring Dr. Wily to justice.
