Game Summary:
In the year 20XX, robotics scientists Dr. Thomas Light and Dr. Albert Wily create a group of six powerful robots, designed to assist mankind in various labors. Though the project is a great success, Wily eventually becomes jealous of his partner and steals the robots, reprogramming them to aid in his quest for world domination.
Knowing the robots will wreak havoc on the world if not stopped, Dr. Light turns to Rock, a tool-using robot he had originally designed as a lab assistant. He redesigns Rock as a fighting robot, capable of adapting the weapons of any other robots for his own use. Now renamed Mega Man, his mission is to stop Dr. Wily and restore peace to the world.
