Game Summary:
The Time of Troubles...A time when the gods themselves walked as mortals upon the surface of Faerun. A time during which Bhaal, the God of Murder, foresaw his own death and set out to populate the Realms with his offspring, collectively known as the Bhaalspawn.
Orphaned at a young age, you grew up in the citadel of Candlekeep under the watchful guidance of the sage Gorion, completely unaware of your true heritage. Until one day, a letter comes across Gorion’s desk warning of an imminent threat to your life. Upon fleeing Candlekeep, however, you are ambushed by a group of assailants led by an ominous figure in pitch-black armor. Although you narrowly manage to escape, Gorion is killed in the insuing melée.
Now, you embark on a quest for answers. Who is the mysterious figure who murdered Gorion, and what does he want with you? Joined by a group of powerful companions, your journey will take you up and down the Sword Coast, and ultimately to the great city of Baldur’s Gate, where your destiny awaits.
