Game Summary:
In a world almost completely covered in water, civilization is limited to only a few scattered islands. Energy sources have become quite scarce, existing in the form of refractor crystals which are often sought out by Diggers, who explore the depths of ancient ruins in search of them. The ultimate prize for any Digger is the Mother Lode, an artifact with supposedly limitless energy.
One such Digger, Mega Man Volnutt, lives with his sister Roll and their grandfather Barrel on their airship, the Flutter. When the tiny ship is forced to crash land on Kattelox Island, Mega Man and company soon find themselves at odds with the Bonnes, a family of pirates who are out to steal the island’s precious refractors for themselves. While he successfully manages to foil their plans at every turn, Mega Man soon discovers an even greater danger lurking underneath the island.
