Following in the footsteps of the 2010 Medal of Honor, which took the game out of World War II and introduced players to the most elite soldiers in the U.S., Medal of Honor Warfighter moves players from Afghanistan to continue carrying out missions in a line of real global raids. This is Tier 1 on a global scale, presenting key real-world points and international Tier 1 soldiers in the Multiplayer.
Medal of Honor Warfighter tells the story of the American Tier 1 “Preacher” who returns home only to find his family undone after years of missions. Trying to gather the missing pieces to save his marriage, Preacher is reminded of what he is fighting for - his family. But when a deadly explosive (PETN) crosses the civil border and its two worlds collide, Preacher and his companions are sent to solve the problem. They take the fight to the enemy and do whatever it takes to protect their loved ones from any harm.
Plot line in Real World Events - From rescuing hostages from the Abu Sayyaf bastion in Basilian in the Philippines, to assaulting the “Pirate City” of Al-Shabaab on the Somali Coast, players advance in the boots of a Tier 1 Operator while hunting down the global threat of the PETN.
