Hitman 2: Silent Assassin HD
The story begins as 47 has fled to Sicily after the end of Hitman: Codename 47 to seek asylum and peace. Shortly after attending confession, 47 learns that his best friend and mentor, Father Emilio Vittorio, has been kidnapped by the Mafia, and so he decides to temporarily come out of retirement to get him back. 47 then travels to different countries, including Russia, Japan, Nuristan (Afghanistan), Malaysia and Punjab (India), doing contracts for The Agency.

Somewhere in Paris, after a botched hit, the wounded 47 staggers into a hotel to hide, and calls a doctor. While he waits, he remembers important parts in his history. After remembering many memories of assassinations, the hotel he is hiding in is surrounded by a SWAT team. In a final decision, 47 decides to come out fighting.

A larger more powerful agency are systematically eliminating assassins in a series of hits, who are all from Agent 47’s contract killing firm, The Internatonal Contract Agency (ICA). Sensing that he may be the next target, 47 travels to the United States to make a killing.
