Game Summary:
Trigger Man is a third-person shooter set in a gritty, mob-controlled city where you play as the underworld’s feared enforcer, known only as the Trigger Man. Don Coladangelo, the mob boss who raised and trained you like family, relies on you to protect his organization and maintain the fragile peace between warring crime families. When rival Don Montagano’s son is murdered, the Montaganos blame Coladangelo and begin to move against him, threatening to erupt the streets into a full-scale mafia war.
Across eight story-driven missions, you carry out brutal assignments in the name of the Coladangelo Family: sabotaging and destroying rival gang operations, intimidating or assassinating key witnesses and mob leaders, and sending bloody warnings by wounding enemy soldiers as messages to their bosses. Levels take you through realistic mob locales such as deserted loading docks, a fine Italian restaurant, smoky back rooms, gambling floors and security corridors of an upscale casino, and other seedy neighborhood strongholds.
Gameplay focuses on straightforward shooting and light stealth. You wield an arsenal of pistols, submachine guns, shotguns, and other mobster-style firearms, using cover and positioning to mow down large numbers of enemies. A signature feature, the ”knife-cam,” lets you silently eliminate foes at range with a throwing knife that switches to a first-person camera as it flies through the air, allowing you to steer it toward your victim for cinematic assassinations. As Coladangelo’s personal clean-up man, you’ll navigate betrayals, mob politics, and escalating violence while trying to prevent a total gang war and secure your family’s dominance over the city.
