Game Summary:
Mario, Princess Peach, and Toadsworth arrive for a vacation on the tropical Isle Delfino, only to find the island covered in goop and Mario framed for the mess by a mysterious look‑alike. Sentenced to clean up the pollution, Mario is equipped with FLUDD (Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device), a water‑powered backpack that lets him spray and wash away slime, hover, and rocket into the air.
Across Delfino’s beaches, plazas, harbors, and theme‑park areas, players collect Shine Sprites by completing open‑ended platforming missions, fighting bosses, and solving environmental challenges. As more Shine Sprites are restored, the island brightens and new areas unlock, ultimately leading Mario to uncover the culprit and rescue Peach.
