Game Summary:
In the course of one apocalyptic night, Edward Canby must face unspeakable horrors and fight to survive as the 843 acres of New York City’s Central Park are visited by supernatural events of cataclysmic proportions including raging infernos, hideously mutated beings, insect invasions and living trees. Unique gameplay , reminiscent of a blockbuster disaster movie. uses DVD style chapter select. Some destructible environments and unprecedented environmental interactions. Gorgeous set pieces, haunting orchestral soundtrack (performed by Grammy Award Winner ”Mystery of Bulgarian Voices ”) and strong voice acting (James McCaffrey, John Cunningham, Adam Sietz, Adrienne Rogers ). A re imagining of the 1996 classic PC horror game that started the Survival Horror genre. Note: the PS3 version improved many of the gameplay elements from the XBOX 360 version - including better driving mechanics, improved camera controls, movement is more fluid and immersive, improved fighting mechanics, easier inventory system, improved on-screen tips, an added checkpoint during the exciting and jaw - dropping driving segment thru a ravaged downtown NYC, and an exclusive new sequence added in episode 6.
