Mass Effect 2 is the sequel in a planned trilogy to BioWare’s groundbreaking 2007 RPG space odyssey. Set two years after the events in the original and much darker in tone. Players continue the adventures of the fully customizable hero, Commander Shepard in new missions alongside a colorful and eclectic cast of new and returning supporting characters. New features include the ability to import game save files from the original, a new damage system, more dynamic and flexible dialogue mechanic and greater emphasis on shooting.
Shepard finds himself reluctantly allied with Cerberus, a ruthless organization to stop an even greater threat - something that is abducting entire human colonies. To attempt this perilous undertaking, Commander Shepard must travel to some of the most dangerous, seediest and plague-ravaged planets to assemble the galaxy’s most elite (and in some cases, most violent) team and command the most powerful ship ever built.
