"Been using this app for years and years and still do! I use it everyday! One feature I’d like to have, is to toggle items from your owned list, to your wishlist. I custom curate every entry in my collection. But my collection changes often as I make a lot of sales and trades. Many items that I sell or trade one day, I may buy back again within the next few weeks. So it’d be a nice thing to have rather than having to delete it entirely and then re-enter all that info. Easy, Helpful, and Interesting
"Originally, I downloaded the app as a trial. My husband and I have a pretty big collection of books, DVDs, CDs, Video games, etc. I figured I would tackle the largest collection which is our books. It was very easy to bulk scan the 52 books just in our living room! I also browsed the app and it will estimate the value of your collection, allow you to document when it was read or even loaned out. I know it will take me several months to get our whole collection in the app, but it is worth the price and time, especially if you have moved 5 times and your collection gets mixed up. Perfect for a Bibliophile
"After leaving a large house, I got rid of all my books (I know, I know.) I’m now starting to build back my paper library and needed something, other than a spreadsheet, that I can access from any device to ensure I’m not duplicating. Being able to scan a book for a wish list, in the bookstore? Winning. I looked at several different apps and found iCollect to have the most flexibility and ability to keep track of many types of collectibles. I was surprised when I was stopped at 30 items and needed to subscribe but, the $60 for any and all collections, unlimited was absolutely worth it. AND that’s a one time purchase, just to be clear. The app is super easy to use and I was able to scan about 50 books in less than 10 minutes. I do not hesitate to recommend this app right now. Amazing support!
"I hadn't used this app in a couple years and I opened it up to extend my collection, but I was having problems with my account. I used the "Contact Us" in the menu, but being after hours I didn't expect any action anytime soon. I received an answer AND A FIX in a matter of MINUTES. Puzzle Lover
"I’m loving using the iCollect app. I paid for the single collection to keep track of my puzzles. I took pictures of all the puzzles and the box lids since I really started puzzling during the pandemic. I also started taking pictures of the side of the box with the barcode since I heard there was an app to track puzzles. At the New Year, I downloaded iCollect and started putting in the puzzles I did in December. Since I had pictures, I did this when I was on vacation. At home, I’m maybe 2/3rds done scanning the barcodes and entering all the boxes I have in my to do pile. I found I had a few duplicates. It will also help me from swapping or buying puzzles I already own. I’m working backwards with all my pictures but I’m only in July of 2023. I figured this would be a great thing to do while recovering from foot surgery. "Had the app for years and the new updated Apple software for my phone would not allow me to open up the movies app to add my new movies. would not allow me to sign in on the app, so I deleted the app re downloaded the app would not allow me to sign in my account. "This is an excellent app if you need to accumulate a listing of your book collection. There’s one thing that would make it a lot easier to use, though. Some of the listings have an alpha index along the right of the screen, allowing you to quickly access any title. With others, you have to scroll screens until you reach the desired title. "I really like this app a lot. I have only added my vinyl but intend to do my dvds too. It's super easy to input your titles. You can add by barcode, photo or manually. I entered 30 records in less than a half hour and that includes a few that weren't listed that I had to take my own photos of. The only critique I could add is as you are adding a title if you accidentally go back without saving you have to start all over again. A check screen saying "are you sure you want to go back? "The app works well and was very easy to use. The more users it has, should also improve the experience since it's a collection of all users input. It's a bit time consuming to build a collection, even with this apps help. So be prepared. Suggestions to sort it: 1.) Allow people to alter the view on the desktop app (like: icon size changing or list view) 2.) Change "series" to "volume", with numeric Data entry (too often do I see inaccurate series data, also I see personal data filled in here too) 3.) Allow peoples comments to be seen on main page, under where it says series (have it pull from the personal tab, so if doesn't affect others) 4.) Change variant to fill with Letters automatically 5.) Have same name format (surname order). 6.) I downloaded the movie and book ones and so far as I can tell once you purchase one it unlocks the others. This is a blessing as I can keep track of all my games and accessories. Cataloging sizable SW 3.75” MOC collection
"I’ve done over 350 entries so far on a very new iPad and here is my assessment: While the app is easy enough to hand enter data, its inability to recognize 99% of barcodes is annoying, as is the no capability to export the images taken with the collection. If I wanted to export the list to a potential buyer they would have no way to see condition via photo. It’d be my word only. The sort function could use a lot more criteria choices. The total # listed for entries does not include duplicates or is there any elegant way to note different locations for dupes. There is only buyer support but no way to advertise what you want to sell. Why not? On the good side it’s been largely bug free and the tie in to the iPad camera works very well along with crop function. The photos ONLY show up in the app as far as I can tell. "Needs to have customizable fields and the ability to hide off unused fields in the data entry portion. I have entered figures into the database, restarted the program and then none of the new figures show up after restarting the program. A couple times, all the figures drop out listing zero action figures and then they appear back in their days later. I have emailed customer support multiple times and have never gotten a response. I like the way it looks but that does not make up for the lack of functionality or support. A work offline feature might alleviate many issues (I think). So far so good , but with that said I found that by introducing a QR reader to your app it would eliminate a lot of the mistakes made by users ( noobs) in the description area.
